Delete your DOMIA account

Developer: Origen App: DOMIA (Google Play & Apple App Store) Last updated: 17 April 2026

You can permanently delete your DOMIA account and the personal information associated with it at any time. This page explains how to submit a deletion request and what happens to your data afterwards.

1. How to request account deletion

Choose either option below. Both result in the same outcome.

Option A — From within the App

  1. Open the DOMIA app on your device and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to MeSettingsAccount.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm the on-screen prompt.

Option B — By email

  1. Send an email to privacy@origen.ae from the address associated with your DOMIA account.
  2. Use the subject line “DOMIA Account Deletion Request”.
  3. Include the phone number or email you registered with so we can locate your account.
  4. We will verify your identity, process the deletion, and confirm by email — typically within 7 business days.
This action is permanent. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Any devices bound to the account will be unlinked and family members you invited will lose shared access.

2. What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete the following immediately:

Account information
Registration details, login credentials, profile, family-invite records.
App-generated content
QR-code bindings to your home central control device and any voice interactions associated with your account.
Third-party identifiers
Identifiers shared with processors acting on our behalf (e.g., iFlytek voice services) are revoked and removal is requested under our data processing agreements.

3. What data is retained, and for how long

A limited set of records may be retained for a short period only when required by law or to resolve disputes. These are kept in a restricted form and are not used for any other purpose.

Legal / regulatory records
Retained only where a specific law requires it (e.g., tax, anti-fraud, or law-enforcement obligations) for the statutory retention period, then deleted.
Security logs
Aggregated, non-identifying security and abuse-prevention logs may be retained up to 90 days.
Backups
Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups until they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation, within 30 days.

In all other cases, the relevant user information is deleted immediately on account deletion, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
